The highlands of the central region are home to some of the most exciting trekking routes in the South Asian region. At the heart of our trekking expeditions is the colorful hill station of Ella. We take you through the challenging but highly rewarding trek to Ella Rock. Through eucalyptus groves and tea plantations, you will climb to the top of a mountain that provides breathtaking views of the southern plains—a sight that has been rated as one of the most spectacular in the world. To begin the day in a magical way, we climb Little Adam's Peak as the sun rises, painting the mountains around you with shades of orange and purple as the mist below your feet begins to lift.
The Rush of the River: White Water Rafting in Kitulgala
Swap hiking boots for life jackets as we move on to Kitulgala, the undisputed adventure capital of Sri Lanka’s wet zone. This is where the legendary movie "The Bridge on the River Kwai" was filmed, but the actual hero here is the beautiful Kelani River. Get ready for an adrenaline-packed experience of white water rafting as we tackle exciting grade 2 and 3 rapids with such ominous names as "Killer Falls" and "Butter Crunch." In between these rapids, drift along peaceful stretches of riverbanks lined with lush tropical forests, leaping off rocks into refreshing pools of water. It’s a perfect mix of high-adrenaline fun and breathtaking tropical landscapes.
