How can we arrive?

Dikwella Beach is located in Dikwella town, approximately 22 km east of Matara along the southern coastal route (A2).

By Bus

Board any main southern coastal bus heading towards Tangalle or Hambantota from Matara Bus Station. Get off at Dikwella Town Bus Stand, which is just a 5-minute walk or short tuk-tuk ride from the beach.

By Train

Take the Coastal Line train from Colombo Fort to Matara Railway Station or Beliatta Railway Station. From Beliatta station, take a 15-minute tuk-tuk ride (approx. 10 km) directly to Dikwella Beach.

Drive south via the Southern Expressway (E01) and exit at the Aparekka Interchange or Beliatta Interchange. Proceed along the main highway towards Dikwella town center to access the shoreline. Parking is available nearby.
