How can we arrive?
Dunhinda Falls is located about 5 km from Badulla City, making it easy to reach by bus, train, or private vehicle. Visitors can enjoy a short 1.5 km nature walk from the entrance to the waterfall.
By Bus
Take a bus to Badulla Bus Station from Colombo, Kandy, Bandarawela, Ella, or Wellawaya. From Badulla town, hire a tuk-tuk or taxi to the Dunhinda Falls entrance. The waterfall is approximately 5 km from the city.
By Train
Travel by train to Badulla Railway Station on the Colombo–Badulla railway line. From the railway station, take a tuk-tuk or taxi to the entrance, followed by a scenic walk to the waterfall.
By Private Vehicle
Drive to Badulla via the A5 highway. Parking facilities are available near the entrance. Visitors must then walk approximately 1.5 km along the designated nature trail to reach the waterfall.
