How can we arrive?
Elle Wala Waterfall is located about 5 km from Wellawaya and is accessed from the Ella–Wellawaya Road.
By Bus
Take a bus to Wellawaya town. From Wellawaya, hire a tuk-tuk or taxi towards the waterfall access area.
By Train
There is no railway station directly at the waterfall. Travelers can reach a nearby town by road and continue by tuk-tuk or taxi.
By Private Vehicle
From Wellawaya, travel along the Ella Road towards Rathmal Vehera Ancient Temple and take the road opposite the temple towards the waterfall. The final section can be rough, and a suitable vehicle or tuk-tuk may be more convenient. A short walk through the jungle is required to reach the waterfall.
