Pasikudah is located in the Batticaloa District and can be reached from Batticaloa, Colombo, and other major cities. Visitors can travel by bus, train, or private vehicle. If travelling by train, Valaichchenai is a useful nearby railway station, followed by a short road journey to Pasikudah.
