How can we arrive?
Belilena Cave is located in Ingestre Estate near Kitulgala, roughly 8 km from Kitulgala town center and 85 km east of Colombo.
By Bus
Board any main bus traveling along the Colombo–Hatton road (A7 highway) via Avissawella. Get off at Kitulgala Town, followed by a 8 km tuk-tuk ride through Ingestre Estate to the trail starting point.
By Train
Take the Main Line train from Colombo Fort to Avissawella Railway Station or Hatton Railway Station. From Avissawella, board a direct Hatton-bound bus to Kitulgala town.
