How can we arrive?
Kankesanthurai Beach is located about 30 km north of Jaffna city and is easily accessible by bus, train, or private vehicle. The journey takes around 30–40 minutes, making it a perfect half-day or full-day beach destination.
By Bus
Regular buses operate from Jaffna Central Bus Station to Kankesanthurai (KKS).
From the bus stop, the beach is only a short walk away.
By Train
Take a train to Kankesanthurai Railway Station, the northern terminus of the railway line.
The beach is located just a few minutes from the station.
