Overview
Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil is one of the most sacred and historically significant Hindu temples in Sri Lanka. Located in Nallur, Jaffna, the temple is dedicated to Lord Murugan (Kandaswamy/Skanda), the Hindu God of War, Wisdom, and Victory. How can we arrive?
Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil is located about 3 km from Jaffna city centre and is easily accessible by bus, train, or private vehicle. Visitors arriving by train can take a short tuk-tuk ride from Jaffna Railway Station, while buses and taxis provide convenient access from nearby towns. Private vehicles can reach the temple via the A9 Highway, with parking available nearby.
