How can we arrive?

Narangala Mountain is located near Hali-Ela in the Badulla District, making it accessible by bus, train, or private vehicle. Visitors can travel to Badulla and continue to the mountain by tuk-tuk, taxi, or car before beginning the hike to the summit.

By Bus

Take a bus to Badulla Bus Station from Colombo, Kandy, Bandarawela, Ella, or nearby towns. From Badulla, hire a tuk-tuk or taxi to the Narangala trailhead near Hali-Ela.

By Train

Travel by train to Badulla Railway Station on the Colombo–Badulla railway line. From the station, take a tuk-tuk or taxi to the hiking trail entrance.

By Private Vehicle

Drive to Hali-Ela via the A5 highway and continue to the Narangala trailhead. Parking is available near the starting point of the hike.
