How can we arrive?
Uthuwankanda Rock is located in Mawanella, roughly 85 km east of Colombo along the main highway.
By Bus
Board any main bus traveling along the Colombo–Kandy highway (A1). Get off at Uthuwankanda Junction (just before Mawanella town), followed by a short 10-minute walk or tuk-tuk ride to the trail starting point.
By Train
Take the Main Line train from Colombo Fort to Rambukkana Railway Station or Kadugannawa Railway Station. From the station, board a local bus or tuk-tuk to Uthuwankanda Junction.
