This building, built of red bricks in the Tudor style of England, was another reason why Nuwara Eliya was nicknamed "Little England". It is still a functioning post office today.

How can we arrive?

This is very easy to find as it can be called the City Center of Nuwara Eliya. Anyone who comes to the city will not miss this.

1. Directions:

From Bus Stand:

If you have arrived at the Nuwara Eliya main bus stand, it is enough to walk for 2-3 minutes from there. When you come out of the bus stand and walk a little to the left (towards the hill), you will see this red building.

From Victoria Park:

If you are visiting Victoria Park, the post office is right after you come out of the main gate of the park and cross the road.

2. Ways to get there:

Walking: Walking is the easiest way for anyone who is around shopping malls, banks or markets in the city.

Tuk-tuk: If you are a little further out of town (e.g. near Gregory Lake), any driver will take you there if you say "Post Office".
