How can we arrive?
Olu Ella Waterfall is located in Amanawela village near Yatiyantotha, roughly 18 km from Karawanella and 80 km east of Colombo.
By Bus
Board any main bus traveling along the Colombo–Hatton route (A7 highway) via Avissawella. Get off at Yatiyantotha Town, followed by a local bus or tuk-tuk along the Yatiyantotha–Seepoth road directly to the waterfall bridge.
By Train
Take the main line train from Colombo Fort to Avissawella Railway Station. From Avissawella, board a direct Yatiyantotha or Hatton-bound bus.

Drive via the High Level Road (A4 highway) to Avissawella, then follow the Avissawella–Hatton road (A7) to Yatiyantotha. Turn onto the Yatiyantotha–Seepoth road and drive 12 km straight to the bridge parking spot.
