It is the cultural capital and the last royal kingdom of Sri Lanka. It is situated in the hills and is very famous for being the home of the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a city that is based on a beautiful lake, providing a cooler climate, besides its rich history.
